Fruit Fight

One of the things I'm interested in is movies. This is a project I did over the Christmas break for my film class. I had to do an animation of some sort, and I chose to do a stop-motion.

It's just a simple little thing about fruit... Fruit that like to fight.

Critique is always welcome.

Oldy but a goody. Had great fun making it. The first thing I made on a bigger canvas. :)

Another older image. When I originally did it, it was very rough and it was hard to tell what was going on. I went back a year ago and fixed it up a bit. Adding more highlights and shadows, and touching up the red spiral in the background.

Any help or critique is always appreciated. :)

Sunset - By Smaxman

One of the very first painting I've ever done. Three years ago. Unlike most of my paintings this wasn't done on canvas, but instead was done on the backboard that comes with an Ikea picture frame, it's in acrylic, like everything else I do.

Hello world! Well I've never had a blog before but I've been told that it's something that I should have, so here I am. The main purpose of this blog is to showcase paintings that I've done over the past three years. And to help me get help and criticism on my works.

Sadly among the many things I do own, I do not have a scanner so most of the paintings have been taken with a poor quality digital camera. So the images will not always, (ever) compare to what is actually been done.
